Hello from AUS
Hello,
Well this is my first bike since childhood (I'm 46). I was knocked down 6mths go by multiple sclerosis and decided I was getting back up with the goal to participate in the Sydney to the Gong MS fundraising race in November this year (50KLM)
I purchased a 2018 Giant Roam 3, had my first ride today and survived! Now focussed on improving my balance, coordination and exercise tolerance

Welcome to Bike Forums. I understand what you're going thru. My 46 y/o daughter was diagnosed with MS almost 10 years ago.
And the Sydney to Gong ride isn't a race. Its a fun charity ride. You'll see all kinds on bikes and riders there. Just keep riding to build up your strength and endurance and when the day of the ride is here just enjoy yourself and have fun.
