RI here
just getting into road riding after a 4 year (and 40 pound) hiatus from moutain biking Building up a Conquest Pro cyclocross frame for daily road use (including the 3/4 mile dirt road to get to paved roads from my house), I hope. Yeee ha! Now, off to decide life's hard questions: open pro or cxp33 rims? Hmm....

Welcome. I went through that same battle on rims not long ago. After talking to a pro wheel builder he seemed to feel that since I carry more weight than the average cyclist that the cxp33 rims coupled with chorus hubs and Sapim spokes would be my best bet. Several thousand miles later I have no regrets.
