...that's Melbourne Australia, not Florida :-)

Been riding seriously for 12 years. Started with MTB, then tri and then road. Raced all 3 disciplines at various stages for maybe 7 of those years. Now I mostly ride road on the weekends with some mates or whatever fast training bunch is around, commute once a week and do the odd MTB ride. But last time I went bush I came off & broke a rib, so still a bit gun shy.

Anyone doing the Thresherman's ride tomorrow? I'll be the one on the daggy blue bike, you'll know it when you see it.

Cheers

A big welcome from Tasmania. You will find a bunch of Australians here...

Another melbournian. I ride with SS-b, and a few other people. Organise some DH races locally. If you want to do some mtbig, Dandenoooooong's has some good fire trials, and Lysterlifed lake/park (2006 comm games), also have some good recreational trails and seroius stuff. Around here and there you also might find some off roads trails.

For road riding, there's lots of that. I've heard talk about the Thresherman's ride while working in a bike shop today, count me out.
