Hello All: Just a note to say hi from sunny San Francisco - I am just getting back into cycling after a few years off (patellar arthritis in my right knee) and have only my intense love of biking to offer right now - I hope to one day soon be in the saddle of a newly acquired road beast rolling my way back to sanity - thanks for looking! - jakirules

It may be a complication from an acl replacement I had 10 years ago. Apparently this can cause patellar tracking problems, as well as change the pressure applied to the backside of the patella itself. So, wish me well, I was just starting to look at commuting options so I could ride to work several days per week. This really does stink.
If you know of anyone who has gone through this, and has survived to blissfully cycle again, please let me know!
Thanks, Jim

Welcome to BF.
Please explain what "Older Noob" means. There are no old people here. Cycling keeps us young.
