I am new to bike forums and relatively new to biking. I have a "Giant" hybrid that I bought 3 yrs ago primarily to rehab from a running injury. Like many people tried to warn me, once I got into biking, I wasn't satisfied with the hybrid. It's great for training, but too heavy and slow to race. I have put off buying a nice road bike because I also got into mtn biking. I have a trek 6700 (2004) mtn bike that I use for adventure races. I am hooked on the multi-sport discipline now and I am currently training to compete in my 1st sprint tri in Sept. I've been shopping for a tri-bike, which is what brought me to bike forums.
