Louisiana- It's HOT here!
Hi y'all. I live in South Louisiana, New Orleans most of the time and Innis (middle of nowhere) part of the year. I'm a XC rider at heart, but am coming back to the bike with new knees after a several year layoff due to injuries. This is actually really cool- my cadence is astronomical! If I could only get out of the granny gear it'll be fun
I've commuted since high school, gravitated towards the road in my twenties until I realized it was a boys club and they weren't going to let me play , (things are SO much better now!) and took up XC when I retired from another sport in '93. I'm an aggressive hammerhead when I'm not toodling around the woods looking at flowers and butterflys. Ever ridden with deer? They'll humiliate you.

Rocking the roads of Bama
used to live in New Orleans. Heard they made the levee a really nice place to ride. Living in CT I know about hills, small ones so far, but sure beats the heat.
