I'm just getting back into cycling for the first time since high school (15 years ago). Back in the day I was involved in racing both on and off road, but have let myself go in the past 15 years. After watching the Tour de France I decided to get back in shape and riding was the perfect outlet for that. I am currently riding a "vintage" 1990 Ritchey Accent Comp with slicks and will be getting my Miyata Four-Eleven road bike (even older) out of the shop in a few days. Those hills are looking a lot larger than they did when I used to ride.

With my decreased muscle mass (damn you Xbox!) and lung capacity (trying to quit smoking) and increased weight (thanks to my car) I have to remain motivated to reach my goal of becoming slimmer and more healthy. It should also help with hockey this winter.

Great site by the way.
