Hi from Toronto
Hi all,
I live in Toronto and my bike is my primary mode of transportation year round. I don't buy the theory that you need a car to get anywhere, so I'll rent a trailer and haul stuff back from IKEA etc. I also love to talk about biking, so I'm glad I found this place! I ride a mountain bike with slicks around the city as a beater bike that I don't worry about getting stolen. I also have a Devinci Caribou for a touring bike, and went on a 450km camping trip last summer and hope to do more touring at the end of this one. I also have a blog where I blab about biking etc. https://crazybikerchick.blogspot.com

welcome, crazy...
i'm about to start using a bike as my single mode of transportation. i've been car free since college but adding a bike to the equation now. so it's a step up for me.
glad to see you here. for what it's worth, i've always thought toronto had some of the best looking women in north america!

Nice to have you on board Tanya. I retired my car in favour of my bikes as well, and I couldn't be happier about it. There's lots of Toronto cyclists in the forums, and if you haven't already, take a look at the Toronto Bicycling Network-lots of down to earth people and group rides:
