Hi,

My name is Alex and I live in northern NJ. I have joined this forum because I have developed interest in road biking. Actually I used to bike a lot about 19 years ago and now after such a long brake I am slowly starting again.

Currently I have an old (1983?) Fuji Del Rey bike with 63cm frame (I am over 6' tall). Before that I used a cheap mountainbike but becuse I bike mostly on flat paved roads, I decided to switch to a road bike. Attached picture shows my bike before maintenance which included new handlebar tape, pedals and seat.

Alex

Welcome to BikeForums. I'm riding a bike like that now too (1985 Trek 620). I used to ride a Wal-Mart mountain bike and just switched over. It's such an improvement.
