Greetings from 40° 42' North, 74° 03' West
Heya! Yep, so new I haven't even finished customizing my profile yet. 
Anyway. As I assume is the case with almost everyone else on this board, I started out with a green 3-speed bananna-seat Schwinn (hand-me-down, no sissy bar up the back though) as a kid pedaling through the woods, and barely touched a bike for another *ahem* few years.
I'm planning to start touring, so I figured this is a good place to pester people with questions and, perhaps, to post pleasantly about my pedaled perambulations.
