Hi from the Netherlands
We're Marten & Marieke Hoffmann from (as the subject says) the Netherlands. We're primarily into tandeming. We got our first tandem in 1990, a Burley Rock'n'Roll. In 1994 we moved up to a Cannondale MT3000 which in 1993 got traded in for a Santos (a dutch bicycle maker/assembler). All these tandems are 26" MTB models, used for road touring, MTB-ing and cycling holidays. A few months ago we added an '04 Cannondale Road Tandem to this fine stable for fast touring with light luggage.
I hope to find answers to 'tandem questions' and maybe share some of my tandem knowledge in the tandem forum. Great to find so many cycling enthusiasts together!

I visited the Netherlands back in 96 or 97.
I went with a group from Zeeland MIchigan
There were 15 of us. Two of them spoke Dutch and one German. We had an excellent time visiting the Netherlands. The people there were extremely friendly and of course biker friendly. We stayed at homes who were "Friends of the Bicyclist". I loved it.
We drove a van into Germany and visited some castles.
I kept a diary of every thing we saw and did. I do have it written up some where.
Welcome to the Forum.
