Hey from Dickson, Tennessee
Just got a Giant OCR3 for cross training for running, but staring to feel tug of addiction. Rode 20 miles today, very meditative. Any advice on great roads to ride appreciated.

Welcome!
You will find a world of info here, sorry I can't help you with the roads, I'm on the far west end of the state,. My advice, call the chamber of commerce and see if you can get hold of a county map, or buy one of the Atlis and Gazetters they sell at book stores etc. They have every little county road in the state. These are especially good if you live near a county line and need more than one county map. Happy and safe ridding! BTW I did my first full century today, I did the Misaligned Minds ride in Paducah KY. It was a blast, I'm still feeling it!

Hi! I am a former resident of the Nashville area and the Memphis area. I've had several motorcycling friends who love riding the Natchez Trace. I've heard it is gorgeous, and it looks like it would be a great place to ride a bike, as well. I also vaguely remember hearing something about riding in Smoky Mountain National park before 10 AM on Tuesdays and Saturdays. If I remember correctly, the park is closed before 10 AM on those days. (Check before you go!) I know that's in the Eastern part of the state, but it's only about 4 hours from you and would make a great weekend or extended weekend trip!
