New from NW Florida
It looks like I am going to get a Giant XTC SE1 and I am pretty excited about being a part of a group called Mountain bikers. I hope that I will get to know you all. Thanks in advance for all of the greeting and making me feel at home here at this forum.

Where in FL?
I'm down the west coast in Sarasota.
If you're anywhere near Tallahassee there are some great trails there. Tom Brown Park, off Capitol Circle and Red Bug Trail off Thomasville Road (or near Thomasville). The Fern trail was a lot of fun, but I think it's now a home developement. Haven't been there in a couple of years.
A lot of good riding in and around Ocala. Hard Rock, Razorback and Santos Trail are all good spots.
Lakeland has two trails that are decent.
Tampa area has some trails, nothing I would make a special trip for, but decent if you're in the area.
There is a new state park southeast of Brandon called Alafia that has some decent riding. They're hosting a Fat Tire Festival there in mid-November I believe. Check www.swampclub.org for more info.
Maybe if and when I do some roadtrips, we can hook up for a ride!

I live between Pensacola and Panama City Beach. I have found a few trails but not many. You will have to keep in touch and maybe we can meet in between there and here.
