Hello all. Just getting back into cycling after too many years. I've been borrowing my daughters bicycle but finally sprung for my own this past week. I'll spend most of my time on the bicycle trail here in town.
I used to ride 100+ miles per week but don't expect to go back to that level. I'm aiming for 30 weekly for the first several weeks and will build from there.
Equipment has improved greatly since my old Schwinn Varsity days. I'm riding with Shimano Deore components and disc brakes (one of the advantages of age is a fatter wallet too.)

I used to live in Sactown... close to Auburn Blvd and Watt (section 7). Anyways, I sure miss riding in Auburn and Grass Valley... ahhh, the Pioneer Trail. And lets not forget South Lake Tahoe and Downieville and Folsom Lake and Rockville and Lake Berryessa and the River and the girls that are easy and the... You know what? I think I'm gonna' move my ass back up there!
Get out there and ride man... just stay off the I street bridge after midnight!
Peace,
Mike
