Hello from Queens, New York, NY
I used to ride bike every day when I was in China, now in New York, would love to ride bike instead of taking subways.
Had one nice bike, sometimes I went to Central Park or Corona park riding, that's enjoyable.
Unfortunately a $50 lock does not prevent it from stealing when I put it outside of the house during the night.
Now I brought a folding bike which I can fold and put in the house easily and carry it on subway during rush hour, happy biking again

In 1984 I spent 10 weeks in NYC working at Sperry Lake Success. I had a cheap 3 speed folder with me, and rode all over the city and out to Ted Roosevelt's place on Long Island. Before I went everyone told me that I would be mugged, but its a great place and totally friendly.

I've been riding in NYC for 14 years now and can safely say it is no different riding here than in any other parts of the country. One does have to pay special attention to those yellow sharks racing up and down the streets though.
Oh, just don't lock those nice bikes outside. Heck, don't even let your ride out of your sight.

Good price and the quality seems good. It might be a little small for tall guys, but okay for me.
