Hi all:
Great source of information you have here... Will be mostly lurking only to pipe up when I have something to ask or contribute.
Cheers!

Welcome to the forums! I find that the search tool can pretty much answer any question that I can think of (oftentimes, too many answers )

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for the welcome! I certainly appreciate all of them...
I currently commute from one end of Vancouver to another. I commute from near UBC which is near the West end of Vancouver to Boundary Road and SE Marine Way, which is the South-East corner of Vancouver. It's about 20.5K one way.
My wife and I work in the same place, and she has started bike commuting with me as well.. We just got her a new bike (Devinci Rio, with all the trappings for touring), that she can use both as a commuter and a tourer.
I personally would like to be touring rather than working, but I guess it will have to wait until next summer (Would like to get a ucycle or a Bruce Gordon BLT (gulp!) )
May it rain only at night when no one is riding. May it rain only on freeways and car parking lots.
Cheers!
Narayan
