Salutations from Milwaukee, WI
Greetings, all!
My name is Diane and I come from a land of ice and snow--not a lot of biking to be had in the winter when it is regularly a whopping 15 degrees and a windchill in the sub zero temperatures, but you get used to it.
I just recently started commuting back and forth from home and work and work and school, and I can dig it so far. It's a great alternative to public transporation or driving a car!

Hi Diane! Where in Milwaukee do you live? My wife and I just sold our house in August around 20th and College. We moved to Dodgeville. Alot smaller town, alot less cars, and ALOT more hills!

I'm and eastsider, from the Brady Street/Farwell Area, but I do know the area of 20th and College, but it's been a while!
And I will agree, the winters here make the three days of summer we get that much more enjoyable!

Don't know if I will ever venture out in the winter. Your area makes Boston seem warm.
Welcome Diane.
Peace.
