Newbie from Indy

Hello everyone!!!

I've been lurking here at Bike Forums for a while and decided it was time for me to participate.

Iím 35 years old, in Indianapolis, Indiana and I have just recently gotten back into cycling. For the past few months Iíve been riding a hybrid and loving it. But it really hasnít taken me too long to outgrow that bike and I decided it was time for a real road bike.

Last week I ordered a Campy Chorus equipped Ti Habanero (Habby is short for Habanero) road bike which I should have before Christmas sometime. I'm really excited about this bike!!! Iím not much for winter riding so Iíll be hitting the trainer and rollers till spring.

I plan on doing a lot of miles come spring time working my way up to my first century before the end of next summer.

I look forward to chatting with everyone.

Tom

Welcome aboard! Your story sounds a lot like mine -- getting back into cycling, bought a hybrid or MTB, and after some miles got in touch with our 'inner roadie' and now we're both waiting to take delivery of our road sleds...

Yours is nicer than mine, though...
