Newbie from Minnesota

Hi all: I have actually been on this board on and off for the last year, but never joined in the fun. I owned four bikes currently, two mountain bikes (Novara Ponderosa (old school), Marin Nailtrail?) and two road bikes (Lemond Zurich, and most recently, new Litespeed vortex). Neither road bikes has seen much day light yet. Hope to change that this year. I really enjoy biking for exercising mostly. It is always interesting see there are so many enthuasist out on this board. Hope to chime in once in a while.

Welcome! Are you thinking about doing any of the upcoming group rides, like the Ironman?

training

First, I need to get back into shape before I do any types of gruelling rides. Don't confuse the number of bikes with amount of riding. The bikes have been seeing more dust than dirt lately.

You in the Minneapolis area? I spent a summer (one before last) riding the western Minneapolis area (Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, Minnetonka, etc) and loved it. Curtious drivers (Minnesota nice!), nice roads, beautiful country. Some of my favorite riding ever!

Well I live in Connecticut now, and compared to the #*^# drivers here, those Minnesotans were extremely curtious.
