Hi from Seattle

Hello all,

I've been lurking on the forums for quite some time now - figured I'd say hi. I ride road and mountain. Always looking for great trails and/or roads. Currently Have: Trek Y (mountain), Jamis Ventura Sport, Moto Grand Sprint. Hope to get to know you guys better.

Jimmy

Not really. After some judicious adjustment, the stock components fit me to a 'T'. I put a gel pad on the stock saddle, which I do for all my bikes, so I can use unpadded shorts or tights. I did put a QR seatpost clamp on, a computer, a couple of bottle cages and a handlebar bag. I have a set of Ultra Gatorskins for when the stock Kenda tires wear out. Since I only use platform pedals these days, I put on a set of Performance low-profile platform pedals.

Sounds good - You like the platforms a lot more? I have the ones that came with it right now, and I don't like them too much. I've put ona new seat (terry fly) and threw on some different tires, bottle cages, seat bag, and a comouter. I also put on a 40 cm handlebar (from the Jamis).

Did you get out for a ride today? Bit windy, but no rain. Gotta love it.
