Hello!
So glad to have found this site -- learned a lot from the posts over the last couple of weeks. I haven't ridden a bike since high school, but am now a budding beginner and a a new bent fan. I spent over two hours this Saturday at a LBS (Snyder's in Bakersfield) and test rode my first bents! Because of the price point, I chose the Sun Speedster SX and upgraded the tires to 100 psi Primas (?). I will take ownership in a week and am already chomping at the bit -- I plan on riding it to work (36 miles RT) to save gas, $, and time in the gym doing boring cardio staring at TV -- give me the outdoors anytime! As a Harley rider, the riding position of the Speedster felt great from the get-go, even if I was a bit wobley.. :-)
I am a confirmed Desert Rat, living in the Mojave desert of California and working at Edwards AFB. I love desert riding and am looking to enjoying the slower scenery from a bike instead of a hog.
Looking forward to learning more from this site and everyone's posts.
All the best,
KiltedWolf
