good to see another DC poster. There are lots of cyclist all about these days. I live in PG MD and commute to Alexandria VA. I also do longer road rides on the weekends.

Hey, don't know what kind of riding you do, but the pirates do lots of casual and some serious riding. Look for DC Pirates in the singlespeed/fixed forum. The commuter folks seemed really helpfull and friendly too when I had some questions. Welcome to DC.
