Newbie from OC California
Hi, I am a total newbie, looking at buying my first mountain bike, am in need of some serious education before I spend any money and this forum seemed like a good place to start. My son is into BMX and has built several bikes, but he's not a heck of a lot of help to me, either because I'm his mom, or he's a teenager, or he has no idea. I'll be 48 in a couple of months, have been weight training for a year, and am ready to get into something that entails the great outdoors. Walking just isn't cutting it. I own my own business, and need the ability to get away into something physical, outside where I can be free from worrying about other people's problems.
