Newbie in Pittsburgh.
Greetings from Southwest PA.
Looking forward to learning a lot from all the people here.
I started spinning a few years ago and seems to have led to some biking. Picked up a Bianchi Eros and Volpe. Did "That Dam Ride" last year and planning an MS150 this year. Not a serious biker really. Just another way of enjoying being outdoors.

Welcome 'homes'. Sounds like we have some things in common. I live in the Mon Valley (south of Pittsburgh) My wife and I have done That Dam Ride and I've done (and plan to do again) the MS 150. Train up for the MS and you'll enjoy one of the best 'organized' rides of your life. It's supported very well - genuinely a great time. Pedal Pittsburgh is an event we've enjoyed as well. I live about 15 minutes from a number of trailheads on the Yough river trail. Enjoy both the trail and the river. We'll have to talk bikes and boats (kayaks for me) sometime.

Hey Druhl.
In the South Hills here.
And the paddling includes a sea kayak and a couple canoes.
At least that's all so far.
Thanks for the welcome.

Welcome! I pedal a home built recumbent trike and paddle a couple of home built (stitch and glue) sea kayaks.
Pennsylvania is pretty country, if it still looks like it did in the early '70s when I drove through on orders from my Uncle Sam.

Welcome Fellow 'Burgher!
I'm near Monroeville!
I belong to one of the volunteer trail councils that maintains the Yough Trail. Have ridden The Dam Ride all four years. It's my favorite of the organized rides on the trail. Doing the MS150 this year too!
Welcome! Will probably see you in the saddle!
