Greetings from Vancouver, Canada!

Hi everyone! Spring is in the air here and I am getting excited about another year of riding. I am a 53 year old male recreational cyclist who rides before work, for a workout, and I try to fit in a long ride on the weekends. Last July, I purchased a Cannondale R600 and had my first clipless pedals installed. For years I had been riding on my old reliable Centurion with toe clips but the difference in performance is truly amazing. I have rediscovered cycling for pleasure again. Hope to exchange ideas and comments in this forum with my fellow cyclists. In the winter, I usually do a lot of skiing at Whistler/Blackcomb and cycling has certainly contributed to my leg strength and endurance.Cycling and deep powder skiing are two of my passions. See ya.

Welcome to BikeForums Jan.

Vancouver is beautiful. I lived in Olympia, WA many many years ago and made a few trips up there.

I'm 58 and riding really does help us "older" cyclists stay young.
