a hello from T.O.
Hey everyone out there,
Just a friendly "hi" to anyone reading this -- I'm new to this forum (but I'm definately not a new cyclist).
Currently all I own/ride is a GT Nomad, my commuting/touring/easy-trail bike. I'm interested in everything to do with bikes: I hope to soon get a fixed/single gear (for commuting), and eventually to aquire a moutain bike, and maybe a roadie. I'm very keen on a "car free" existence, and living in Toronto Ontario is generally promotional for commuting (and also for day-touring, as it's a pretty big city when you get out on two wheels. A summer project I have is to explore every river valley, every large park). Down the line want to build a cargo bike/trailer (or maybe a tricycle for that matter), as I'm an organic gardener - which in my situation implies needing to transport more than a panier can hold (and living plants at that) - and I know eventually I want to live in a rural area, and try and run a Permaculture farm without a car. I know it's doable.
Anyways, see you all around.
