For people who don't like swimming or don't know how to and want a good form of exercise try this:
Ride your bike up to a nice trail or Lake, then run a 5K and bike back. Do this 3 times a week, great routine.
My bf and I do this 3 times a week. It is so fun and excellent cardio workout.
- tks... used to do this many years ago (late '70s in SF)...
- alas, running a 5K several times a week is too much impact for these poor old feet, knees...
- i'm thinking about mixing up some swim time w/my daily 30-mile bike jaunts...
