hello from Cape Cod
Hi all,
I guess I've been a member hear for a while but I've never really posted. I guess now is as good a time as any! I'm a long time 'roadie' but was off the bike for a few years due to injury, and later, lethargy! I got back on the bike last year and haven't looked back since (except to look for cars ;). So, I had an idea this year... ...My idea was/is to build a fixed gear since "that's what all the kids are doing these days" and someone metioned to me that I would be better off seeking a frame without vert. dropouts in order to tension the chain... now, is this the only way? I might have access to a perfect road-frame for this project but it has vert. dropouts. Options/ideas/advice?! thanks! |
