PA (Formerly CT) Noob on the Forum

Hey All - just hopped on board today to get some much needed info on MTBs out there. I was more of a hiker than a biker most of my life but back in '92 I decided to take a spin by bike across Canada from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia to Vancouver Island, BC. It was a killer of a trip mainly due to the head winds but I finished in 57 days and really enjoyed the adventure. My biking diminished somewhat when I got married but there are some great Rails-to-Trails pathways here near Valley Forge National Park so we bop around them whenever we can. Looking forward to our forum chats.

Later!

- Ram

Ram - Wow! That sounds like quite an adventure. Welcome to Bike Forums. There's a long-distance cycling forum with a couple dozen folks who'd be eager to hear the story - even if it was from years ago. There are quite a few "kids" on the Mountain Biking Forum - but that doesn't mean they don't know their stuff (well mostly anyways)
