Hello Im Injured from Nor-Cal

actually I am injured. I have a stress fracture in my femur neck. I have been off the bike for 6 weeks, going nuts. I love to ride, both road and mountian bikes. I have a Niner One9, Salssa Juan Solo, both are singlespeeds, and pipmed oout Yeti 575, and a Trek 1500. I am currently trying to decide on a Specialized Roubaix Expert, or a Trek Madone SL 5.2. My last bike purchase for a while as I will be set. I live in the bay area of Nor Cal and am a self employed mechanic. 39 years old and married toa non riding wife.

Sean is my name.

Welcome Sean, I hope that you are as good as new real soon and I'm sure that BF will help you pass the non-riding time.

Sorry to hear about the injury. BF is always a good place to kill some cycling related time when you can't ride.

Thank you all for the welcome. The injury has been a very frustrating experience today I will finally get some crutches after 12 weeks. Hopefully keeping weight off the hip will allow it to heal.

Yes I have a mt bike, actually 3, as it is my main passion. My road riding I did to get in better shape, and actually discovered it is alot of fun as well. Heres a picture of my favorite ride, although not the one I ride the most.

Nice bike, Sean! Go to the Regional section near the top of the main page and click on Nor Cal. This section is new....

Hope your hip is healing okay, and that you are not in too much pain. Since you don't ride that cool bike, I could aways take it out for you. hehe

I always let people try out my bikes. Although this is an XL so it might be a bit big for you. I dont know why my pics are coming out so small on this site. Actually I have upgraded a bit since that picture was taken.
