Intro
Hi from Germany,
I was requested from RonH to post my very interials into this thread and I just wanted to emphasize, that I'm friendly, too. I have a giant 21 gear bike and ride about a 1000 miles per year or more in my area Nordhessen (hills not mountains). I'm not a pro but interested for about two and a half decades in pro (road+lane) cycling. My best average CLM was 32 km/h per full hour(road,windy) on a Pinarello bike and I would like to get to know how shy RonH is about his very secrets

Neither have I!
I'm a cycling fan since the times of Eddy Merckx (at least those times I can remember). I'm glad that I found an American board, cos' there seems to be a real hype over there since Lance. Let's talk cyclism now, in the other boards. I'm propably not the most frequent poster, but I will show up from time to time.
Bye, greetings!
BTW: What do you think of my homepage? Hopefully we will have some more US-Athletes on the list soon.

Welcome, badorties! It's cool to have people from all over the world on these boards. My son spent last year in Aachen on an exchange program - is that anywhere near you? He absolutely loved Germany and can't wait to go back. Keep pedaling!

Welcome - my wife graduated from high-school in Frankfurt. Did you get drafted before you started cycling?

@slotibartfast
it's all 42, and so Aachen is somehow near me, but in miles it's aproximately 200, but if you divide the distance and the time by the ultimate answer it could be 42. But the final solution is the root of the difference between arti and oti and that might be 42 after all, but I never really thought about it. (nice biking area though, Aachen, similar to mine, hills up to 2000 ft)
@amerpie
Frankfurt is a bit closer (120 miles), what kind of draft (before I started cycling?) do you mean? It's a sports forum, isn't it?

badorties, 42 is INDEED the number! You're very quick - I look forward to your future posts. Only 2 people have caught on to the number 42 associated with my name - you and a guy from the Netherlands. I'll inform Ford and Zaphod Beebelbrox.
