What Up From Maryland

Hello to all, My name is Joseph...aka "The Hammer"...aka "The Hill Smasher". I live in Fort Washington, MD, I belong to two cycling clubs...OHB&TC, and the "Big Dogs Cycling Club" for riders over 200lbs. I've been Road & Mountain bike riding for about 10 years now. I ride a Tommaso & Iron Horse Road Bike, and a Trek & Mongoose Mountain Bike. Where did I get the nickname The Hammer & Hill Smasher? Well, Big is my ring, power and distance my thing. I'm the one who makes the other riders work, even if I'm not. There's no ride or climb I can't reel in, givin enough time. Pain is my true friend. If I'm not hovering on the brink of agony, I'm just not happy.
If the pack I'm riding with was a corporation, I'd be the model employee. A real team player-A jack of many skills, master of none. I'm 46 years old, 5'9, 245lbs. Though I've been told I move at speeds that look dangerous to people with slow reflexes, at times I can sprint pass the pack like a shao Lin Priest walks through walls...My motto...Ahh!!! Have Bike Will Ride!

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.
