Noob from Central Texas

I just bought a new Gary Fisher Wahoo "Torture Machine". I have not ridden a bike since I was a kid. I bought my Wahoo at Pedal Power in San Marcos Texas. I have only riden the bike about three miles so far and man this thing will work you out. Looking forward to getting into better shape and improving my riding skills.

Welcome, I envy the scenery you have in the San Marcos area, but not all those hills. Should be an awesome place to mountain bike though. Check out the mountain bike and mechanic forums, tons of great info to be found. Stop by the Foo forum if you want some laughs.

Well, you've come to the right place. There is lots of great info in the training section. Welcome to the forums!
