Newbie in SW Japan

I've been reading searching these forums for about a month now, and have already engaged a little. Even got some info to help make my first road bike purchase. So I thought I better come and introduce myself. Took the plunge and bought the Cannondale R800, JP version. I've had the bike about 2 weeks, and just got 100 mi (160km) on the odometer last night. Going for a "long" ride this morning, about 35-40km. Love the bike and love riding it. Too bad I picked this up just as the days are getting so short.

So far I've enjoyed these forums a ton, and have learned a lot. Great info for a beginner. I am turning to biking because I always thought it looked fun, and because a knee problem that won't go away has got the docs saying not to run very much. So far so good on the knee. Well, off to go ride!
