Hello from Canada
Hi everyones, i had find this site by surfing on the web and i think its very interesting.
First thing i want to say is that i m french canadian from Québec and my english is not that great
I started to really cycling this year, I bought a new bike wich is a Giant OCR 3 and i love it. I bought it in june and ride over 1000 km so far. This bike makes cycling much more easier... I had cycle a few places in Québec and in Ontario as 1000 islands and niagara fall. I live right beside that wonderfull Gatineau park who welcome cyclists from all over the world, and also in the Ottawa area wich has GREAT places to cycle. My boyfriend and I are planning 2 weeks of cycling/camping in the Florida Keys on november/5 2006 and 1 month cycling/camping in France in may 2007. Asia in 2008.

I take 4 hours French classes per week at work but your english is much better than my french. You are very lucky to get away to ride in so many places. I have been for cycling weekends in Ottawa several times. Welcome

I had the pleasure of cycling from Montreal to east of Quebec City this past summer on a weather shortened tour of the East. Your English is excellent compared to my French. The people of rural Quebec were fantastic about speaking English or at least trying to. Some of them went so far as to say that I made a good person to practice their English on. Your local tourist offices were most helpful and the two that I went to in Quebec City were unbelievable. Cyclist are certainly most welcome in Quebec. Most of the time on routes 132 and 138 I had the cycling lane to myself. I also had the pleasure of following the Route Verte. A tip of the hat to Michael Gagnon (sp) a fellow cycle tourist from Quebec for all his postings which formed the basis for a most enjoyable trip
I enjoyed myself so much my plan is to return in 2007 and continue from where I left off.
You must tell me more about your proposed trip to the Keys. I'm looking for a winter escape tour and it's coming down to Florida and the Keys or California or Arizona.
