Hello there

Hey there. My name is Chris, I'm from Tucson, AZ. Currently I'm living with my dad who lives in Avra Valley. I'm pretty out of shape, and wanted to use cycling to get into shape. The only bike I had was a really crappy Shimano Break Point POS from WalMart. I think I paid like $229 for it there. The rear axle got all bent, so I took it out and straightened it. It's still not perfect, but its rideable. I have been hitting all the dirt trails around my dad's house and it is a BLAST. I rode about 10 miles yesterday, and did 11 about 2 hours ago. Im about to go out again, and will try and go even farther. Such a great workout. First thing I'm gonna get is a new bike, so I welcome any suggestions. My uncle is an avid cyclist, and I hope to join him on some runs eventually.

Welcome Chris. Sounds like you're a mtb'er in need of a real mtb. Save your pennies, do some research and test ride all the bikes you can. Almost anything will be better than the x-mart mtb.
