hello everyone
I'm a Finnish girl from the Northern Europe. I have always been intrested in bikes and especially now because I'm investing in a new one. I don't have that many friends (not yet!) who would be that intrested in bikes as I am.
I thought that you might be intrested in my home country which offers very extreme conditions as what it comes to riding a bike. This is what we call the Northern part of Finland . Notice the mountain biking activities
And here are some more material . I think that the best part is the picture gallery
The best in biking is to go fast and feel yourself free !!!

Thank you all so much for welcoming me. You are all so friendly!
It's nice to hear that you liked the pictures on the websites.
ChipRGW True I'm not finnishing --->
Bikedud The summer season is just about getting started here. There was no snow last week but what happened during the weekend There's plenty of snow again. The cycling season takes from April to September - October if we're lucky.
norgie How long is the summer cycling season there? Good luck to you too with the coax effort

Hyvaa Paivaa Anna,
Welcome to bike forum! I've been to your beautiful country with its thousands of lakes. Must be nice to have a sauna after a long bike ride. My favourite area was Kuopio where I met so many nice people and had such a nice time in 1971. Uksi olut, kiitos! (One beer please)
Take care,
Jan

Great Pictures - I went for my first ride of the season on 1 April but on Saturday we had about 10 cm of snow, and it is going down to -10C at night time. I visiited Aland in 1966, but I would love to see more of your beautiful country. There are a few other members of the forum from Helsinki - have you met them?

Hi gonesh9, kitsilano1967, AndrewP and Juha! And thanks to you too for the welcomes.
gonesh9 - I'm considering to buy a mountain bike but I'm still comparing few options.
kitsilano - Hyvää päivää sinullekin! You know the facts...
And AndrewP - It seems like you had the same situation with the snow there. Here's getting warmer again, now it's +6C
Juha - Moikka! Mukavaa, kun on muitakin "heimolaisia" täällä. Kiva foorumi
It's nice to know that you're interested in Finland. Maybe you could travel here sometimes.
