Hiya!

Did a search and ran into y'all- decided to sign up. Been riding forever - had back surgery in 2000 and decided to get a recumbent - not really working for me...probably better off with a road bike so I can stretch out rather then sit. Been looking around at a variety, considered a Townie but not sure if I should go with more of a racer (more stretch)...open to advice!

Just a casual rider - had a Stumpjumper when mountain bikes first came out, never got real into it, though.

So there ya go, ride on! Doug 8>)

Hey, Big Bike Daddy! Welcome to BF!

You will surely find some info on this site to help you get back to spinnin' on down the road, whatever the fashion.

Check out the 50 Plus, Recreational and Family, and Road Cycling forums. Also, check out the Foo forum.

I have some good refs for back books if you're interested. PM me.
