Hello from Arizona

I found this site a few weeks ago and enjoyed reading the various topics so much I decided to join. I have cycled for many years in rural Arizona, road and mountain bikes, but I never learned the bike jargen and I fix things best I can since there is no local bike store. I still catch myself calling the bottom bracket the crank shaft.
Reading the Bike Mechanic section has been very helpful.
My biggest biking accomplishment was about 10 years ago my wife and I and four sons (11-17 years) pedaled from Arizona to Canada. It is how we mark time in the family now. (Was that before or after the bike trip?)
Anyway, this looks like a great forum with all levels of bikers and many very helpful people. Glad to be amoungst you all.
