Hello all
Hi all
I have been following the forum since last September and just decided to register yesterday. This fourm is comprised of a great group of people with many diverse ideas, much useful information, and good humor at times.
I’ve been retired for several years and undergone a quad bypass a few years back. My son who now lives in WV has been an avid biker for a long time. Last Fall during a visit with him he talked me into trying a ride on the local Rail Trail. Now I haven’t been on a bike in forty years and had forgotten how much enjoyment cycling is. We had a great day. I immediately bought a bike ( Giant ) on my return home and have been able to start riding the local bike trails in the Metro Parks, as weather permits this time of year.
In addition to cycling, my interests are in boating, photography and amateur radio. Thanks for the opportunity to join this fine group.

Hey! I just took the license exam last weekend. I should be getting my call sign any day now. But then, I don't have a radio yet.
Edit: Oh yea.. Welcome!

Welcome to bikeforums, bentcrank! It's good to see another Ohioan here. Aren't the Metroparks great? I love riding the Parkway.
