Hi my name is sal gargano I'm 52yrs. old been riding for over 40 years non competitive .I have had many road bikes I have a pinarelo banesto replica right now. I have not ridden in about 8 years but the bug has hit me again. I am a bit overweight and my joints hurt but I am about to start riding again. I really miss the speed and the great feeling of an early morning ride in warm weather. Living in N.Y.C my choices of rides are limited but I will be ready in a month or two. I would love to buy a new road bike and probably will.Good biking to all.

Hello saxman54, there are places to ride in NYC, it's just not necessarily as relaxing a ride as in other parts of the country!

I think if you head here:

you may get some helpful hints for NYC riding.

Welcome to BF!

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.
