Hi from Kansas City

Glad to find this forum.

I commute ~40 mi a day from Olathe, KS to Kansas City, MO. 4 days a week. It all started over a year ago when our company challenged us to find ways to exercise more. After several interim steps I decided to ride my bike home one day. That was all it took… I was hooked.

My bike is an old 70's Motobecane that has been hanging in my garage for years. It's really a very good commuting bike other than the center-bar shifters. I hope to upgrade in the spring.

Oh, I'm 51.

Ray, you've been peeking at the site!

So, you know there's forums for commuting, 50+, and my personal favourite, Classic & Vintage. We'll expect to see photos of the Motobecane...ever thought about bar-cons?

Welcome to BF!
