Wisconsin rookie
I'm new to the forum and still in my first year since I picked up mountain biking.
From central Wisconsin...still no snow. Ride a '06 Fuel EX8. Treated myself to full suspension after back surgery a year ago (no good story here - herniated disc from landscaping). Raced 4 WORS races in Wisconsin last summer. Seem to get hurt a lot so I'm hoping this forum can give me the training info to keep me in one piece.
Coming over from 20+ years in the rock climbing world, though I will never fully leave it. Love to travel and hope to also hear about great trail destinations.
Looks like lots of like-minded folks on this forum.

We can't promise miracles, but we can try to help. There are a lot of forums which may help, including the 50+ forum (don't worry, they let people be honorary members even if they are not 50 +).
Also, if you like classic and vintage bikes, we demand photos be posted in the C & V forum!

Sounds good. I'm 43, but somedays feel like I'm 53. Especially if I haven't ridden my bike that day.

Hey
I spend my summers in northern wisconsin. I've never done any of the WORS races, but I wouldn't mind giving them a try next summer!

WORS is fun and pretty laid back. Here's a link to next year's schedule - https://www.wors.org/schedule/ If you are up north, the Phillips and Rhinelander races might be close. They say it's the largest state mountain bike race series.
