Hello from Massachusetts

Hello everybody!

I started getting into Triathlons last year and really enjoy it. It was a great way to combine all my interests and stay in shape at the age of 36. I finished my first Tri with a borrowed bike and now I hooked.

I just purchased my first new road bike, 2007 Trek 2100. It’s a big change from my borrowed 17+ year old Cannondale. I guess I should give it back now! I hope to get involved in a local cycling club and start putting more time on the bike.

Take care!

Just remember, one can never have too many bikes. You sound as if you are off to a good start with finishing one triathlon so keep up the good work and enthusiasm. We will hope to see more posts from you.

Welcome to BF!

Hi John. I'm in Newport, but not a very fast rider. If you're ever interested in a slow (~16-17 mph) ride sometime, PM me. Or if you have any interest in mountain biking; still slow there, too!
