Greetings All from Lake Forest Park, WA

I just stumbled across the Forum yesterday and it looks great. I currently ride an old Novara Viaggio from REI and typically ride the Burke Gilman Trail either out to Marymoor Park/Redmond or into Seattle (Fremont). I'm hoping to try some touring this season and, if I like it, maybe upgrade to a better touring bike. I'm 58 with some back problems so will need to see if the old body can take it. Right now I'm thinking about replacing the stock saddle on my Viaggio to a Brooks B17. The Brooks seems highly regarded but I'm open to suggestions.

Happy riding!

Thanks for the tip

Thanks - I'll check out the the road forum threads and see what's there. My only "problem" with the Burke Gilman Trail is that I get so used to riding without worrying about cars and traffic that I tend not to ride on the roads around here - kind of limits my route selection.
