Amish Country (pic)
Yep, from Lancaster PA
So many Cycling forums out there, and I need something that I could discuss road bike related stuff with the masses. So here I am. Also a member on HCOR.net which is pretty dead during the winter.
I've got a Cannondale Prophet (which is really muddy currently)
Azonic Steelhead (in peices)
Razesa (dont know the model)
Since we don't see too many Spaniards out there I thought I'd post one of the Razesa!
I need some info on upgrading this old steed, whether to SS or new 9 speed components. Friction shifters suck!

I will justify my statement.
Be it my inexperience or just lack of patience, I've lost interest in friction shifter due to the constant adjustments the need to be made while riding. Maybe I don't know how to adjust them, but I can't ever seem to shift a gear accurately without keeping my hand in the shifter to make small adjustments after the chain moves. It gets very frustrating.

Are you sure you don't want to stick with the friction shifters?
