Hi from Scotland..

Due to parking restriction changes enforced by our local council I've cycle commuted the 20 mile round trip into Edinburgh since the beginning of September 2006, and aged 37 I'm kicking myself as to why I didn't do it earlier

Always been into mountain-biking but will happily admit to being too scared of city centre traffic to cycle commute.

Have only missed 3 days since and been forced to take the cage and that was due to 80mph wind gusts.......bring on the summer

Other than cycling it's guitar, guitar and more guitar and some Lau Gar kung-fu and looking after the best wife in the world that takes the time.....

Total respect to some of you extreme guys who deal with the silly temperatures...I thought -5 here in Scotland was brave but nothing compared to some on here !!

Hello all

That's the exact mantra I've been repeatiing to myself every night when pedalling home into the prevailing winds. Part of the plan was to start in the winter, get through the roughest part, then it should be plain sailing
