New life for da old Lambert?

Hi Gang,
I'm new. An old biker who is looking for insight- should I upgrade my late '70's Lambert. I love the frame and I want to bring everything else current so its good for another couple decades. If you've done it successfully or not, I'd appreciate your reply. Home is pert-near Milwaukee.
