A Long Island (NY) Hello
I'm back cycling again (I'm 50) after somehow getting away from it for fifteen years. I used to ride a Raleigh 10-speed Super Course, bought in 1972. After researching a ton of information online and visiting several local shops I recently bought another Raleigh--the Venture 4.0. So far it's been terrific, though I'm patiently awaiting spring. Returning to cycling is like returning to a favorite state of mind somehow overlooked for too long!

Thanks! I'm fascinated by all the forum topics--I'm catching up on a lot of information about the whole bicycle industry and the many options out there in cycling.

welcome Westegg
Welcome! I grew up on the North Fork where my first bike trips were out to Orient Point and to Shelter Island. I still enjoy it there while visiting famly.
