Hello from Knoxville, TN!

Hello all!

My name is Ryan (obviously) and i'm a 21 year old dude from Knoxville TN. I biked a lot when i was younger but i stopped but now i'm ready to get back into it. I'm currently shopping for a mountain bike to do some trail riding. there is a great park here called Haw Ridge that i plan to go tear up as soon as i get a bike. i am a clydsdale @ 6'2" 255lbs but i'm trying to loose some weight becasue i'm getting married in august and i dont want to be fat for my wedding. hopefully biking can help with that.

Thats about all i know to say here- if you have any questions/comments for me go for it.

-Ryan

BTW- my screen name comes from my favorite character in the movie 'the italian job' (Handsome Rob) it has nothing to do with actually being attractive.

Hello Ryan, you sound as if you got some great motivation there, with the wedding in August. It sounds as if you've already found the Clydesdales forum, but you might want to visit the Southeast forum to see if anyone else is out there in Knoxville...

Welcome to BF!

Hello, HandsomeRyan. Welcome to BikeForums.

If you ever do any riding on the roads, perhaps I'll see you around.

Hey Ryan. Ktown here as well. Like this ^ guy, if you ever get on the roads I may see you. Just recently sold my mtb, but am considering selling my hybrid and getting another. I work in Oak Ridge so Haw is on my way home.
